Background;
Albedo is a U.R.T.V.(U-DO Retro Virus), and thus isn't exactly normal. Growing up was quite the ordeal for him, as he had a conjoined twin named Rubedo, who had to be separated from. Because of this, he was extremely attached to him, sharing half of your heart with someone can do that to you. So much so that if someone even slightly hurt him Albedo would violently lash out at said person.
In his youth is where he also discovered the power that was unique only to him. He even demonstrated it to his brothers, Rubedo and Nigredo, by blowing his own head clean off. Indeed, Albedo was able to regenerate his own body in its entirety. Sadly, this was something only he had, and when realizing he would live on when Rubedo and Nigredo would die...
Well, he snapped. Digging practice graves for your brothers so you won't be sad when they die ain't normal yo. This insanity was only amplified when he was exposed to U-DO waves during a training mission, and his sudden surge of power caused him to bring about the event known as the Miltian Conflict.
Outside of his childhood though Albedo was even more mentally unstable. After his encounter with the U-DO waves he "worked" for the U-TIC organization, capturing a small Realian by the name of MOMO, to recover the Y-Data from her. He kidnapped her and took her to a space station known as the Song of Nephilim, and then after being stopped by some meddlers which included Rubedo he left only to return with a bigger space station! He confronted the group head on once they made their way inside, and while he was 'defeated', it was still very much a victory for him.
After disappearing into the shadows with the fragment of the Y-Data, he waited until MOMO had to undergo maintenance, during this time he hacked into her, to recover the remaining Y-Data. After successfully doing this he vanished from the scene, along with his E.S. Simeon, opening the door to Old Miltia in the process.
When next he returned it was when Rubedo and his crew were fighting the Patriarch, he sarcastically offered his help, only to be rather abruptly assaulted by the Proto Omega. He was killed yet again, so far as being particles in the air. After the 'heroes' defeated the Patriarch his regeneration was sped up by the Testaments. Shortly upon reforming he absorbed a surplus of U-DO waves, and turned the entire Omega-System into a Space Time Anomaly.
Rubedo entered the Anomaly to face his other half, and Albedo proceeded to viciously taunt him, egging him on so when he eventually met up with him he would surely kill his other half. All according to Albedo's plan, Rubedo did the deed, them having a nice tearful farewell. What would soon become a huge surprise to Rubedo to be sure, Albedo only died to be brought back as a Testament, supposedly to serve under Wilhelm...
As is implied, Albedo is... rather crazy. The type of guy who when someone asks for a hand, he would literally rip of his hand and offer it to the person. Only of course to grow a new one. However despite his disheveled state of mind he can actually be quite calm and rational if he so desires, but really, he would prefer to rant on and on then quietly sit and observe.
